The group Puffy Mushroom was formed in Volume 8 of the Love Hina manga series. The group was formed by the Characters (from left to right) Sarah MacDougal, Shinobu Maehara and Kaolla Su. These are also the same characters that grace the Puffy Mushroom.com banner. For more information on the individual characters, go to the Favorite Characters section of the site.
Now, back to Puffy Mushroom. During Volume 8 of the manga, Su, Shinobu and Sarah all form Puffy Mushroom as a search and rescue group to find main characters, Keitaro Urashima and Naru Narusegawa. Keitaro and Naru have gone to the remote desert island of Pararakelse. |
| Shinobu is the self elected leader of Puffy Mushroom for good reasons. Sarah and Su proceeded to make counterfit money and fake passports so that "not even the FBI could tell the difference" (Sarah). Su, as the mechanical genius that she is, brings along her newest invention, Mecha Tamago 4. This is pretty much a tank in the shape of a turtle. For more information on the Mecha Tama's click here. As the group tries to get to the island, they go through several hilarious escapades that only Love Hina can deliver.
