This section is dedicated to all of my favorite Characters of Love Hina, including the members of Puffy Mushroom! Each character has a few pictures along with a brief bio.

1. Motoko Aoyama
First is my favorite, non-Puffy Mushroom character, Motoko Aoyama! She is a stunning beauty who lives by the sword. She practices the sport of Kendo daily. Kendo means "the way of the sword" so she carries her blade around with her at all times. She despises men in the beginning of the series, which means that she is contantly using her sword skills on Keitaro when he does something perverted. Throughout the series Motoko is the character that grows the most out of all of them. She is constantly questioning her femininity thanks to Keitaro (of course), but it doesn't change the fact that she still likes him. By the end of the series she "finds herself" and becomes at peace with the world.

2. Kaolla Su
Secondly is none other than Kaolla Su! She is the mechanical genius in the series. Su creates cool gadgets in her spare time. She also has all the video game consoles. She is the most energetic of all the Hinata residents and she likes to take out all that pent up energy on Keitaro. Su is rather lonely sometimes though. She is a foreigner, but you won't know what country she's from until the end ^^. She eventually will have to go back to her home country, but wants to take the entire Hinata house back with her cause she loves them so much. Su is really weird and random at times, but that is what makes her so gosh darn lovable!

3. Kanako Urashima
Up next is Kanako Urashima. Kanako first appeared in Volume 11 of the manga. Kanako seemed like a gothic, psycho, brother-loving freak at first, but as the story unfolded, we found out that Kanako just loved her brother (stepbrother) Keitaro. Her goal was to run an inn together with Keitaro. She was going to use Hinata House as the inn. She tried to get everyone to leave by impersonating Naru, but this didn't work. Everyone cared too much about eachother to abandone eachother. Kanako gave up and just became an attendant. Kanako is really sweet when you ignore her odd personality defects... She is also Kuro's owner.

4. Sarah MacDougal
Sarah MacDougal is another member of Puffy Mushroom. She is also one of the most energetic characters in Love Hina, coming in second next to only Su. Sarah first came into the series as Seta's daughter. She had traveled around the world with Seta as a younger kid. She then met Keitaro when Seta returned to Japan. After a while, Seta had to go out on another expedition and he decided to leave Sarah with the Hinata residents. She wasn't at all happy about it. She felt like their "weirdness" might start to rub off on her. Sarah took some time to get used to everyone, but she eventually became a strong part of the family. Sarah's favorite thing to do is to make mischief along with Su. She and Su are always playing together. Sarah is overall a really cute, funny kid. She has a mecha counterpart just like Tama Chan (made by Su of course) that took her place after she left near the end of the series.

5. Mutsumi Otohime
Next up is Mutsumi Otohime. She is a rather spacey individual who always likes to say "Oh My!", which is really funny. She has problems with anemia, light-headedness and near death experiences. Despite her sicknesses, she still strives to get into Tokyo U to meet a boy she made a promise with to get into T.U. with her when they were children. I know what you may be thinking, but it's not exactly what you think... Looks like you have to read to find out what I mean. Anyway, Mutsumi is one of Keitaro's main love interests besides Naru. Naru gets jealous a lot whenever Keitaro and Mutsumi are together. Mutsumi likes Keitaro, but would rather see him and Naru together. She loves watermelons and heated tables and seems dumb, but she is really a great woman. Read the series and you'll see what I mean.

6. Shinobu Maehara
The last member of the great group Puffy Mushroom is Shinobu Maehara. She came to Hinata House because her family had problems. They don't really go too in depth about it in the manga though. Shinobu was really quiet and shy when Keitaro first came to the apartments, but as the series went along she became very outgoing. It was all thanks to Keitaro. She has had a huge crush on Keitaro ever since he arrived, so whenever he would compliment her, it made her come out of her shell a little more. Her only real wish is to see Keitaro happy, so when Keitaro is trying his hardest to achieve a certain goal, she is always there rooting him on.

7. Naru Narusegawa
Naru Narusegawa is the main female character of Love Hina. Many see her as a violent, butch girl who really hates Keitaro. I don't see her that way. I'll agree that she is violent, in fact I'll even agree that Keitaro is an idiot for staying in love with her. But, I still like Naru. She may be the girl Keitaro made his Tokyo U promise with when he was a kid after all. She spends all her time trying to help Keitaro study to get into Tokyo U along with her. Her main reason for trying to get into Tokyo U is her tutor, Seta. She used to have a huge crush on him when she was in high school. Naru beats on Keitaro whenever he does something perverted, which is usually just a big misunderstanding. She beats on him a lot but she really does like the guy. 8. Haruka Urashima
Haruka Urashima is Keitaro's aunt, even though their ages are similar. Haruka is the wise adult in the series, she often gives all the residents wise advice. She once was involved with Seta during his main excavation days. She cares about everyone but gives them their space to make mistakes and learn from them. Haruka is a really cool woman, it's too bad there aren't many like her out there. She has one major flaw though, she always has a cigarette in her mouth.

9. Mitsune Konno (Kitsune)
Kitsune is a professional slacker. She just sits on her butt all day drinking booze. She gambles, watches porn and she has a huge rack. She is every man's wet dream. She insists on prying into the lives of all the Hinata residents. Her meddling usually has funny results. She loves to make Keitaro over-react, so she often pretends to come on to him. She really does have a good heart though. She cares deeply about all her friends and never wants to see any of them hurt.
